So What Will Happen At My First Visit?

Typically you should plan for 60 to 90 minutes for your first visit at our office. We will update your radiographs as needed and will perform a thorough examination. At the end of the consultation, we will review your treatment recommendations, if any, and discuss them together with you. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions and have an active role in your treatment process. We will also present to you a complete breakdown of the fees for any recommended treatment. We do not ask for a commitment unless you are ready to move forward, and there are no surprises later.

Sometimes treatment may be started the same day as the consultation, but typically we prefer to schedule treatment after the first visit. It allows you to ponder any questions about your treatment and allows us to set aside appropriate time in our schedule for you. If you have any hesitation, we encourage second opinions. Feel free to gather as much information as you need until you feel comfortable. We will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
